Building a community of detransitioners in Canada
Detrans Alliance Canada was created to be a resource for people who are detrans, who desist or are regretters.
Detransition Awareness Day – March 12, 2026
This year’s event in Washington, D.C. is the largest gathering of detransitioners ever held, bringing together leading voices to confront the realities of detransition and set in motion a long-overdue reckoning across law, medicine, and public policy.
The conference will bring together lawyers, clinicians, researchers, academics, educators, parents, and detransitioners. The focus is practical, evidence-based, professional and non-ideological discussion.
Who is Detrans Alliance Canada?
Our Mission
1) Detransitioners, regretters, and friends helping each other to find the medical services they need to recover from transition,
2) Detransitioners, desisters, regretters, and friends combining efforts to gain legal recourse and compensation where warranted,
3) A community for social and ministry support to understand and digest the experience of transition, and
4) Combine voices and insights to contribute to the political dialogue in Canada.
